RICHMOND WATER SYSTEM

PUBLIC MEETING ON DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT EVALUATION

FOR PROPOSED WATER DISINFECTION SYSTEM

December 5, 2022, at 3:00 P.M.

The Richmond, R.I. Water System will conduct a public meeting on the draft environmental impact evaluation that has been prepared for its proposed 4-Log disinfection system. The Water System plans to modify Well No. 1 by installing a sodium hypochlorite feed system to disinfect the system’s potable water. The engineering firm responsible for the design of the system will be present at this meeting to describe the system, explain the contents of the draft environmental impact evaluation, and answer questions from the public.

The meeting will take place in the Town Council Chamber at the Richmond Town Hall, 5 Richmond Townhouse Road, on the 5th day, December 2022 at 3:00 P.M.
