The Town of Richmond is seeking an individual to serve as our Public Assistant. The Public Assistant is a volunteer who reviews requests from individuals in need, for funding from the town (small amounts). The Public Assistant handles NO money, but rather screens applicants for demonstrated need. Interested persons should fill out the application at the below link, accompanied by a letter of interest describing why you think you would be the best person for this position. Applications can be dropped at the Town Hall (Clerk's Office) Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm. Applicants should complete a waiver form when dropping off the application, allowing the police department to complete a background check. Applications should be received no later than 4pm January 29, 2019.
