At this time, we are told that the State will be doing all of the 65+ Covid vaccination shots. Effective 2/22, you can register for a shot at https://www.vaccinateri.org/. We expect that the state will be setting up additional sites, hopefully closer to Richmond, in the next several weeks.
Vaccinations are also available at CVS and Walgreens by appointment, however their Richmond stores are not yet participating. Please see their websites for information. CVS is vaccinating in Westerly and East Greenwich, and Walgreens is vaccinating in West Warwick.
Individuals who are truly homebound should complete the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZMGLLPQ
If you’re unsuccessful in obtaining a vaccination appointment, you might want to register on the state’s “interest list” at https://portal.ri.gov/s/login/?language=en_US&startURL=%2Fgettested%2Fs%2F&ec=302 or by calling 844-930-1779. Individuals of any age are encouraged to register so that you will be notified when your age group is eligible.
