Richmond Water Update - 4/20/17, 12:15 pm
The Department of Health has asked us to chlorinate the water system, so we wanted you to be aware that you may smell chlorine when you run your water, and you may experience a reddish color in the water. This is not an indication that there are any contaminants in your water, and none have been found to date, however they feel that it is best practice to take this step before the boil water advisory can be lifted. At this time, it is unknown how long it will be until we are authorized to remove the boil water advisory. Further information will be provided here on our website, Facebook, and Twitter, as well as via the media. You can register for notifications from our website by clicking the “notify me” button toward the middle left of the home page. Thank you for your patience in this matter!
