If a payment due date falls on a weekend, taxes are due on the first business day following the 7th. NOTE: If your total tax bill for the year is less than $100, you ar required to pay the entire balance on or before the first quarterly due date of September 7th.

Payments postmarked on or before the 7th are considered timely. If the postmark is illegible, the payment is posted according to the date it was received at Town Hall.
If you would like a receipt, please include your e-mail address with your payment, or you may include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
Drop Box: There are two drop boxes at Town Hall. One is located outside of Town Hall on the double doors at the main entrance, and the other is located in the Collector's office.
In-Person at the Tax Collector's Office: Payments may be made in cash, by check, or by credit card. Please be advised that there is a 3% technology fee for all credit card payments.
Online by credit card: You can pay your bill online at www.riegov.com. In order to make an online payment, you will need your tax bill (which contains your account number and PIN) and a credit card. Please be advised that there is a 3% technology fee for all credit card payments.
